Biography of Amanda L. Reichek
Amanda L. Reichek is an honors graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law. She has devoted her legal career to practicing labor and employment law, having worked for some of the preeminent plaintiff-side labor and employment law firms in Texas. She is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and was named a 2010 Rising Star by Texas Lawyer Magazine.
She is proud to represent exclusively individuals in various types of employment-related lawsuits, including causes of action arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act, Texas Whistleblower Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Pay Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Texas Labor Code Sec. 451, and Texas Health & Safety Code Sec. 242.133.
Amanda is the co-author of Recent Developments under the National Labor Relations Act, presented at the State Bar of Texas Advanced Employment Law Course (2008), Interstate Battles Over Covenants Not to Compete/Injunctive Relief, presented at the State Bar of Texas Advanced Employment Law Course (2009), and the author of Labor Law Retaliation, presented at the University of Texas School of Law Sixteenth Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference (2009).
Amanda is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Texas, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, and the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
She is actively involved in several professional organizations as well, including Texas Employment Lawyers Association, Dallas - Fort Worth Employment Lawyers Association, and the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee.
