Grand Prairie is mourning the loss of Susan Simpson Hull, Grand Prairie ISD’s Superintendent. While Superintendent Hull was vacationing in Arizona in July, she died after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Superintendent Hull was driving the motorcycle at the time of the accident. No other vehicles were involved. She was the Superintendent of Grand Prairie ISD for 12 years. Dallas ISD trustee and Commissioner Mike Morath issued a statement praising Hull as “…a teacher’s teacher and an admired champion for educational excellence, who had an unwavering dedication to improving the lives of every student she touched. Texas education will not be the same without her.”
